Fat Quarterly and a Giveaway!

Today I'm VERY excited because I took part in the Designer Challenge for the latest issue of Fat Quarterly and it's out today!!!

Two Pillows

They sent 2 swatches of fabric and we were to create a block that focused on colour. The fabric sent was Too Muchery by Helen Dardik shown below.

toomuchery

I created 2 cushions/pillows and the tutorial for the Dresden one is in Issue 7 of Fat Quarterly - Designer Challenge.

You just need to count your comments, enter in the highest number, push generate and bam there's your winner. Too easy.

I usually take a screen shot of the winner using my PrtSc button, but that's optional, you could just write it out...

  16. Ignore Kat, she lives all the way on the other side of the world and you don't want to be posting there. I, on the other hand, am just a few hundred miles south. I could drive up and get it and save you postage! You have done a brilliant job and I am so impressed with you being in the Fat Quarterly. Yet another person I knew back before the days of fame.

  39. They are gorgeous! I always thought of that design to be a bit too old fashion... and I know there are lots of old designs that are being "revamp" by only using new fabric designs, but I thought the dresden had no hope in the contemporary world... how wrong I was! and yours are a prime example!
