Meet Bella, the pin cushion. I think I might be in love with her! I made her using a Heather Bailey pattern called Effie and Ollie that I've had my eye on for ages. As much as I want to keep her, I did make her with someone in particular in mind, and I'm intrigued to see if this particular person will love her too :)
I also finished off the cushion I've made my partner in the Pillow Talk Swap on Flickr. I kind of want to keep this too, and I'm hoping that my secret partner will like it.
I made another little Fortune Cookie purse to pop in as an extra little surprise for my partner, I really like these little purses (Frame and Pattern from U Handbag) and I love that fabric (Make Life by Sweetwater)
So now it's almost the weekend, wonder if I'll find time to make something for myself? :)

ReplyDeleteall 3 projects are lovely. I'd feel bad sticking pins in the elephant she's so sweet. I have a purse frame from there too but I'm worried I'll end up in a horrible gluey mess so I've not made it yet.

ReplyDeleteHow can you stick pins in Ellie?!?! She is far to sweet and beautiful for that kind of treatment. I may have to go looking for that pattern after I have caught up on all my swaps. Love the cushion and the purse too, but have to say Ellie is my favourite!
